Morning Japa at Umdloti Beach

As we try to honor our commitments to our spiritual master and guru's, we try to incorporate Vaishali into our personal routine. Every morning since we've arrived in South Africa, Vaishali and Papa have been going out on what Mama calls Japa-Papa walks where chanting is done by Papa as the two of them journey through the neighborhood. Mama often says that it's Vaishali that pulls Papa up the gigantic hill as they begin their walk. What made this morning fabulous is the fact that every so often when Mama can spare time from catching up on sleep, we have what Papa now calls Japa-Mama-Papa walks; which we all love because it usually means that we're off to the beach as a family. Vaishali loves the breeze and the view, Mama loves the peaceful time, and Papa of course loves the Sun. Chanting/Praying together certainly does keep our family together.
